Olivia is our '06, Syd's Good Stallion granddaughter.  She is  out of our Mount Christie Black Onyx and by Big Sky Taliesin.  She is a chunky gal, well on her way to reaching 15 hh or over.  She is the most lovable of our herd, being the first to greet you at the gate or to whinny a cheerful  "good morning" when you enter the barn to feed and turn out in the morning.  Being somewhat of a baby herself, doesn't stop Olivia from being Aunt Livi when it comes time to wean.  She teaches the babies their manners and looks after them when they are seperated from their mothers.

Even as a two year old, I can see so much of Onyx in Olivia.  Here demeanor, abundance of hair/feather and the ability to take everything in stride are all the things I love in Onyx and am now discovering in Olivia.  Because she is so "unflappable,"  I believe she will make a terrific mount and an awesome driving mare.  Her trot just goes on and on with no show of running out of steam.  Watch for Olivia to be driving in the near future!
